Daily diving
What is a typical dive day like?
When you arrive at the diving center office/reception, you will check in with your guide.
Once everyone is gathered, you’ll take a short stroll to the diving center terrace, from where you will get on the boat. When the tanks and equipment have been loaded, you will leave the shore and head to your first dive site. There are two dives a day, with an optional third dive (payable locally) if the conditions allow it. Lunchtime is between these dives, sandwich is provided for lunch. Once all diving is completed, it’s time to head back to the dive center where your equipment will be assembled for you, ready for the next day. Please make sure everything is back in the diving center before you reach the Hotel!
Can non-divers come on the boat?
Of course! We realize that many people bring their families when on diving holidays. Anyone is welcome and will only pay a ‘passenger on boat’ ticket, whether they snorkel or not.
What if I want to do something different?
We offer many ‘different’ excursions – Daymaniyat Islands. Fahal Island and Bandar Khairan (Al Munassir wreck). All these are arranged at the resort, and normally happen when there are at least 5 people who wish to go. For this reason, unless you are a group, we cannot guarantee these trips in any given week.
How do I pay for these extras?
We will add them to your bill, taking into account your original booking, and you just pay for the extra trips and activities.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash and credit/debit cards.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give us as much notice as possible if you wish to cancel a daily diving activity.
If you cancel, a written letter, fax or email is required.
